We started Sunlight in the middle of a war, with a simple dream — to give young people leaving orphanages and boarding schools a safe place to live, learn, grow and prepare for independent life. During wartime, this transition is even harder, and the need for support is greater than ever.
We planned the project for girls, but then a few wonderful boys came along… and we simply couldn’t say no.

They fit in so naturally that they have become an important part of our Sunlight family.
This year has brought challenges, laughter, tears, mistakes and many little victories. And somewhere along the way, Sunlight became much more than a project. It became a Home.

Thank you for believing in us and in our kids.

One year down — and we are just getting started!"
